Devoke Water - Lake District Walk
Wednesday 27th June 2007
After arriving in the Lake District over 24 hours later than planned, thanks to the heavy rain and floods from the previous two days, the sun came out so we took advantage of the fine weather and had a short evening walk around Devoke Water. The last time we had been here it had rained and the tops had disappeared under the low cloud so it was nice to re-visit the area under far better conditions and to see the views we had missed previously.

Scafell, Kirk Fell and Great Gable from Water Crag's summit. We enjoyed a long break sat here in the sun, out of the wind and enjoying the peace and quiet.
